Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Batteries; Widely Used In All Sizes of Motorcycles
Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Batteries , also called as sealed lead-acid battery, is a kind of rechargeable lead acid battery characterized by a low level of electrolytes absorbed into a metallic plate separator. (VRLA) batteries are used as a main storage energy due to its unique properties such as low maintenance cost, safety profile, elimination of gassing, and high power density. Valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries are also used for power applications that depend on cells, including portable electrical devices and other applications that require large-scale, low-cost power storage and off-grid power systems. There as two types of Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Batteries , such as the Gelled Electrolyte (Gel) and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM). VRLA batteries always include a safety pressure relief valve. The VRLA cannot spill its electrolyte if it is inverted as opposed to vented (also called flooded) batteries. The VRLA, including AGM and Gel battery des...
