Hyperpigmentation can be one of the most troublesome skin conditions. It can cause embarrassment and it can also lead to scarring. Hyperpigmentation, sometimes also called "dark patchy hyperpigmentation," is marked by irregular pigmentation on the skin, usually caused by genetic factors. The condition is most frequently noticeable around the cheeks, eyes, and nose, although it can appear anywhere on the human body.

In fact, some of these lasers can even cure conditions that would be considered 'irradiative' by standard pigmentation treatment procedures.
