Bicycle; Necessary to Move People & Goods to Areas Where There Are Few Automobiles

A Bicycle, also known as a cycle or pedal cycle, is a single-wheel or pedal-driven, human-powered vehicle, having both wheels connected to a rigid frame, on which pedals are operated. A bicycle rider is commonly known as a biker, or cyclist. Bicyclists do not use high-tech helmets or protection clothing but they do wear protective gear that includes a helmet, padded leather gloves, and a rain cover. The bicycle industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world due to many factors such as increasing demand and higher production rates.

Currently, the demand for electric bicycles is increasing and is expected to become mainstream in the coming future. Electric bicycles are among the most popular of all Bicycle today. E-bicycles are known for their lightweight, compact, and affordable design. A variety of electric bicycles are available globally from e-bicycles (with a small motor) to e-bikes (with moped-style functionality). Also, apart from the fact that they are quiet, fuel-efficient, and pollution-free, electric bicycles make alternatives for cars and other forms of transportation as they offer the same amount of speed and performance.

From the beginning, bicycles have been and are employed for many uses. Bicycles are widely used for transportation, utility cycling, and bicycle commuting. It can be used as a work horse by general delivery services, mail carriers, messengers, and more. Bicycles are necessary to move people and goods to areas where there are few automobiles. Bicycles are used for various purposes, such as sports, adventure sports, and daily commute. Different types of bicycles are available in the market, such as hybrid bikes, sports bikes, road bikes, and mountain bikes.

Although the bicycle has been in use since the 19th century, it has developed extensively over the years, with the production of lighter and faster bikes. In 1866, Frenchman Pierre Lallement filed the first ever patent for the bicycle with two equal-size wheels in the United States.
